If you received an invite to our blog about our roadtrip, welcome!
This will by a day by almost day blog about our travels across America via Route 66 and other roads. We will have our cameras ready and willing to capture some sights-most importantly, we want to create a virtual scrapbook of our time on the road for our family & friends.
Who we are? Well, if you got an invite, you should know; We're Pam & Laura, aka Thelma & Louise....we're both 40, we're both married mothers with children, pets, mortgages & the best of friends for 25 years. We will not be planning to drive off the grand canyon, rob or pillage anyone, but we're going-alone-to survive the next 2 weeks together-only armed with our majorette batons-aka, "chicks with sticks". It's our first American Tour.
Suitcases are packed, car is scheduled for new brakes, change in the change jar, We have a tent, sleeping bags, sunblock and full tank of gas. Bring it on!

Hope the two of you enjoyed your time at Casa Castor. Have to say one of the funny moments of the lake trip was watching someone try to make it into the back of my boat when they were wet, tired and could not stop laughing!!! By the way, I think I spotted Thelma and Louise going down I-44/Old 66 hwy stalking someone in a Green Dodge 4x4 on their way to Tuscon, Az. Hope they don't pick up any strangers at truck stops!!
